CHRIS LEATHERMAN, Senior Instruction

Chris Leatherman, is the owner & Director of Instruction at Leatherman Golf Learning Center. He is a Class "A" Member of the PGA of America. He has been teaching professionally for 20 years and has 30 years of competitive playing experience.

LINDA JOCHIM, Staff Instructor

Linda came to Charlotte from Cincinnati, Ohio in 1999. Prior to coming here, she was the Varsity Girls Head Golf Coach for Mt. Notre Dame H.S. in Cincinnati for 6 years. When the program was initiated, there were girls who had never held a golf club, however within 5 years, they were able to qualify a team for the Ohio H.S. State Championship! She helped take two teams to the State Tournament before moving from Ohio. Mt. Notre Dame Girls H.S. Varsity Golf Team has captured the state title for the last three years in a row. A dynasty was started! For her efforts, Linda was awarded "Coach of the Year" honors from two different Athletic Associations in Ohio.

Although she started her golfing career later in life, Linda does hold six Club Championship Titles in both Ohio and North Carolina.

Linda has been at Leatherman Golf Learning Center for 5-1/2 years. She is a member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division. She has also taken over as Director of our Junior Academy Program this year, and is very excited about the possibilities.

Linda has been married to her husband, Bill for 31 years. They have two grown daughters. Both of them played under her coaching supervision throughout their High School years. They continue to play for their own personal enjoyment to this day.

RANDY JOYNER, Senior Instructor

Randy Joyner is a class "A"  PGA Professional.  He has played events on both the PGA Tour and Nationwide Tour.  He has conducted clinics for major corporations across the country. Randy works with players of all skills levels, from beginners to professionals.

FRED BOND, Senior Instructor

Fred Bond is a class "A" life member of the PGA of  America with over 45 years teaching experience. He has coached golf at the college level.  He is one of only 45 master club fitters for Henry-Griffitts, Inc.  Fred has worked extensively with junior golfers and works with players of all skill levels.

Dave Kingsrud , Senior Instructor

Dave has over 50 years teaching experience and is a Class A lifetime member of the PGA. He has won numerous Pro-Ams and State Open events over the years. He has shot his age on several occasions.
