ANNOUNCEMENT for March 15, 2021

To our customers,

At Leatherman Golf Learning Center, we have been replacing all of the netting on our driving range.  We started the project on Tuesday, March 2nd, and are getting close to completion. The soft ground conditions the first week of work made progress slower than expected.

The 80 foot lift used to replace the netting is extremely heavy and must be moved around on plywood in certain areas to avoid getting stuck in the ground.  Moving the plywood around is labor intensive and takes away from working on the netting.

We may be able to partially open the driving range this weekend. Weather permitting. Stay tuned for another update on Friday.  The Pro Shop, club repair and miniature golf course are open 10:00am to 6:00pm daily. We can do some lessons and club-fittings as long as we are careful to avoid hitting the workers.

Thanks for your patience and we look forward to seeing you back on the range very soon.

ANNOUNCEMENT for March 2, 2021

To our customers,

Beginning Tuesday March 2nd, the Leatherman Golf Learning Center range will be CLOSED to the public for approximately two weeks, weather permitting.  The building and Pro Shop will be open from 10:00a to 6:00p daily

We are replacing all of the netting on our driving range.  This is a very big job requiring an 80 foot lift and unfortunately needs done every 10 to 12 years due to dry rotting, holes and tears from weather, wind, tree limbs and UV damage.

We will be doing some lessons and club-fittings, but all shots hit need to be less than 200 yards for the safety of the workers and to ensure no balls fly off property.

If you want to shop for merchandise, come to the side window by the stairs and we will let you in.  Mask and hand sanitizing required to enter building.  We will be able to do club repair as usual, so now is a good time to get your club work done.  Also, the miniature golf course will be open the same hours.  We will not be turning the lights on during this time.

Thanks for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you back on the range mid March.
