MEET THE STAFF
CHRIS LEATHERMAN, Senior Instructor
Chris is the Owner and Director of Instruction at Leatherman Golf Learning Center. He is a Class "A" Member of the PGA of America. Chris has been teaching professionally for 21 years and has 31 years of competitive playing experience. He is a member of the PGA Presidents Council for growing the game of golf. Chris teaches players of all ages and skill levels. His teaching philosophy is based on a thorough understanding of the five basic fundamentals of golf. This simplistic approach builds the foundation for a reliable, natural golf swing which produces accuracy, control, consistency, and effortless power.
LINDA JOCHIM, Staff Instructor
Linda is a Class "A" Member of the LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Division. Prior to joining Leatherman Golf Learning Center in 2002, she coached the Varsity Girls Golf Team at Cincinnati's Mt. Notre Dame High School for 6 years. Taking the team to two state tournaments within 5 years of starting a team, Linda was awarded "Coach of the Year" honors from two different Athletic Associations in Ohio. Being a golfer who started later in life, her competitive experience was mostly amateur, winning six Club Championship Titles in Ohio and North Carolina. She is Director of the Junior Academy, as well as an instructor of Golf 101 Classes (both co-ed and women only). Linda is available for private lessons for men, women, and junior golfers; along with corporate, private, and junior clinics.
DAVE KINGSRUD , Senior Instructor
Dave is a Class "A" Life Member of the PGA of America. He has won numerous pro-ams and golf tournaments over the years. He has shot his age on many occasions. Dave was recently awarded Half-Century Club status by the PGA of America for 50 years of dedicated service. Dave stresses good fundamentals and proper ball contact to all his students.
RANDY JOYNER, Senior Instructor
Randy is a Class "A" PGA Teaching Professional. He has played events on both the PGA tour and the Nationwide tour. He has conducted clinics for major corporations across the country. Randy works with players of all skill levels from beginner to advanced. He specializes in teaching low handicappers and aspiring tour professionals. Randy has 16 years of teaching experience and is a certified club fitter.
CURTIS EUDY, Certified Club Fitter
Curtis started in the golf business in 1997, when he was hired by the Sports Authority to open the golf department of their newest store in Myrtle Beach, SC. Two years later, he joined Golf Dimensions as a club supervisor at their south store in Myrtle Beach. After completing courses in advanced club repair and club fitting, he moved back to Charlotte in 2002 and joined Mark Davis at the Effortless Golf Shop in Pineville, NC. In 2008, the business was sold to Leatherman Golf and he stayed on as a club fitter and repair technician. He is a member of the Golf Club Makers Association and has been certified as a club fitter by both Ping and Wilson.
